Exactly. A vtec light isn't the greatest method of determining if vtec is engaging or not, especially when it is saying that vtec is engaging when you are just revving it. You have to be going faster than 25 mph for vtec to engage.

Thanx, I figured, but I use the light as an indication for VTEC. So I know if it kicks in at all. BUt for soem reason it jsut doesn't some times. Maybe I Just need to replace the IACV and the ECT Sensor and everything will be great. Well, I guess we will see, I will update later, anymore help, just post it up here. Thanx.

I have had 2 broken retainers, just the outside broke, the inside was still hangin on there.
