Default Motor Swap

Ok, because the B18 i was looking to buy was a JDM not USDM, im not going to pick it up. I was thinking about doing a K-series DOHC swap into my 90CRX Si. I need some prices it might be, and if it mounts to the stock motor mounts and what not.

In all honesty, a K swap, tho sweet... At this point is IMO not worth the money... A B can be brought to the same amount of power, for cheaper... Find you a nice B18A OBD0 with a cable tranny, from a 90-93 Integra RS/LS... And with the extra money build that up... Maybe even turbo it... With 5k, you should have enough to do it...

If your serious about a k-swap, it'll run about $5-7k, depending on the area, shop, etc... For mounts, u need to buy the hasport kit, which I believe, runs $400. Also, u need to mount shift linkage too, which I have no idea on. Check out hasport's website for further info on the swap and necessary parts.
I agree with exempt though. Putting a k-series in a crx is almost overkill, as far as price. U can buy a b18c 96-2000 type r USDM from hmotorsonline. Just ask Steve there and he'll hook u up.
