Default Dohc zc in 91 crx si question

I've read where everything will bolt right up to it. What about the a/c compressor? Will it bolt right up to the dohc zc with the same bracket? If it does, i'm thinking a dohc zc swap in my crx for around 500 bucks would be alot better than a b16a for around 3 grand(keeping a/c). I don't think the 30 extra horses would be worth 2500 bucks.

It's not the extra 30 horses or so that is worth it, it is worth it in the long run. You can do more with a B16a in the long urn than you can with a ZC. It is all what you want tho.

the zc is $900 and the b16a1 is $1400 on www.speedtechracing.com ,so if you pay $3000, your getting jewed

I'm speaking of final cost. If i did a b16a swap, the final cost would be around 3 grand or more considering the cost of motor mounts, shift linkage, a/c mount, aftermarket header(which i would buy), etc., etc. The ZC swap would be much cheaper because it uses the stock mounts, linkage, and my aftermarket header would fit it also. I'm thinking keeping my SOHC ZC is the way to go until it blows up because i'm sure it also gets better fuel mileage than either of the above.

what's 5 mpg difference anyways? get the fricken crx hf if your concerned about gas prices. b16a-1400, hasport sport mounts-400, or just buy some from ebay-150 or so. a/c and power steering rob horsepower anyways! so if 1400+500= 3000, go back to school

Can you not read? Seems to me you're the one that needs to go back to school. You did'nt add in the a/c bracket, header, shift linkage, cost of shipping, etc., etc. I've read where the b16a swap easily costs some people 3 grand. Also, does anybody know if there is a big difference in the SOHC ZC and the DOHC ZC power wise in the CRX?
