Default Under hood spray help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never done anything with cars and know nothing. My dad told me to go to the car wash and choose the engine spray cycle. I had no Idea that I wasnt supposed to spary certain areas. I spayed and as Im driving home when I was at low rpm's the car would lug, and when I got home, I noticed not all the foam was off the engine, so I sprayed with my hose, and now my car will not start. What Do you think is flooded? Could my dad and I fix this, Will the water evaporate?

Will it eventually dry? Will it just evaporate if I leave it?

Take off the dist cap and dry everything out, dry everything off that you can. Make sure that the air filter is not wet also. BUt almost 100 % sur eit si water in the distributer.
