I didnt use the brackets on my install, just be sure the intake dosnt ground out on the battery... Mine did at first... Move it back and forth a bit and make sure, because it will move when you drive... If it does touch, or looks like it might, wrap a whole lot of tape around it, or stick somethung rubber between the post terminal and the intake tube... As for the round hose clamps, yes you need those...

Did that say 4.5" tip? Get your straw hat and head to the rice patty! Seriously does no one care about cars anymore?

The tip that big is just to fill the hole on the CRX bumper and look more agressive... I see nothing wrong with it personally...

That's why people make fun of ricer's... Oh and btw how does that make it look more aggressive? Turbo whine, NOS spray, good stance, or 1/4 mile times make a car look (Oh, and be) aggressive not a MF'n exhaust tip. Sorry to hate but I drive a Honda and hate the flack that some cause the rest of us w/ legitimately fast hondas not just some crappy coffee can tipped car.

Look man, I hate rice too, and I hate when I see a morons giving Honda a bad name... But Ive seen PLENTY of CLEAN non riced out cars with a larger exhaust tip... It looks aggressive, compared to the stock dual tips that just dont... Most of the aftermarket exhaust, even the good name brands, have one large tip... Very few have the dual tips...

Examples of clean cars and a larger tip (some sweet rides by the way):

Now the stock exhaust, not that it looks bad, but its definatelty not agressive:

Most of us hate ricers, but c'mon a large 4.5" tip is fine if thats the style you want. Its wen it takes off down the road rasping and sounding like a bee thats the bad bit!!! I have a 4.5" on my ride, it doesnt rasp at all and sounds deep and racey!!!
My exhaust is a de-cat full mongoose system...

And btw, a aggressive looking exhaust tip is a PART of aggressive styling, Just like you cant have a single part on its own to make a car look aggressive. for eg. if you lower a ride, but some nice rims on it, and a nice kit the car will look aggressive (depending on the parts you choose) Any of those parts on their own will not look as aggressive as all put together. Same applies for the exhaust tip, you could have everything done to your ride apart from the exhaust tip, however the standard one wont look as good/aggressive as a after market one (in my taste, but each for their own!) I'm not saying standard stuff isnt ok, but its not every1's taste.
