Default OBDO DOHC distributor differences

Does anyone know if there's a difference between a OBD0 DOHC distributor for a JDM b16a and a regular domestic b16a? Are they interchangeable without any consequences?

The b16s from civic del sols were obd1, and the 99+civic sis have obd2b, i believe. I think you can get a distributor from a 90 integra ls. Correct me if i'm wrong anyone.

So, if I understand correctly, I should be able to buy any OBD0 DOHC distributor and it should work even though it's not from a JDM?

So long as the distributor posts match up. But I think I read somewhere that you have to knock off one of the posts on the ls distributor for it to fit right...
