Default WOO HOO it runs

ok got my b16a in and running...but have a few questions...

1. v-tec seems to not be coming on...i don't notice a boost of any sort...one guy said i might have some wiring all messed up but not sure?

2. does any body else have the b16a in 88-90 crx and the hasport mounts and a DC sports 4-1 header? bc mine is now the lowest thing to the ground and rubs...but am taking the coils up to fix unless a better way exists?

3. I have the b16a and a victor x intake manifol and a big throttle body and cam gears and the dc sports 4-1 header and 2'1/4in pipe all the way back into a single chamber "muffler"...god it is so loud! am planing on running a cat and something like a dynomax bullet. need ideas to not make it sound poppy and rice-like...would like for it to have a deep tone to it...please help!

Feel free to call me and explain or whatever(817)229-2420...ask for joey...thanks for the help in advance!

#1: You should throw codes if VTEC doesn't engage. You are running a VTEC ecu, yes?

#2: no other fix, unless you shim the whole engine up, and that could get ugly.

#3: Glasspack. Glasspack glasspack glasspack. You can put that thing all the way back to a stock sound with a glasspack and a Borla universal.

How do you like your victor X? :ugh:
