Nuff said... NX dosnt have the 'commericial' aspect that NOS has (since FATF), so its considerably cheaper for the most part... Zex is also good and cheaper than NOS...

As for the 50 shots and the most an engine can take, its pretty much like FI, as Pete sais, its mainly about tuning and fuel managment... If you have crappy FM & tuning, you might as well forget it... But a stock D block with decent managment, should be able to handle 50 shot...

There was an article on Nitrous a few issues back in Honda Tuning, was a pretty informative article... And probably worth tracking down if your really interest in Nitrous...

Personally I think Nitrous is for P***ys [I'm new here so Iunno if were allowed to cuss], cuz that jus means you can't run quick and it's an easy way to cheat. The other thing is that Nitrious or "NOS" as you like to call it messes up your engine if you don't use it properly, and A LOT of people don't know how to use it [thats why they blown pistons and whtanot]. This is jus my 2 cents. I don't think its worth buying, save your money for something useful.

I don't see how nitrous is "cheating". The whole point of racing competatively is to be faster than the next guy by any means. If you can gain an edge with spray than I don't see how that is cheating. It's like a workout out at the gym. If you're trying to get bigger you take supplements like Creatine. It's also a good alternative for those that want to maintain a daily driver while having the ability to use a little extra power when they need to. Nitrous really isn't dangerous. If you follow the instructions about how to install it and don't exceed the recommended levels of fuel and spray than there really is no hazard. Sure there are those few people that hold the button down on the highway while trying to break a new landspeed record, but they deserve to destroy thier motors. The only drawback is refilling the tank. If you use it a lot it could become a money pit. That's why a turbo may be a smarter investment in the long run.
