Default Update on Problems...

Want to give a big thanks to Shmoo

Well I took my car to Shmoo's house today, to try to find out why it was ticking, and where it was ticking. Well we fixed my alternator, CAT, and my valve cover gasket. We took off the valve cover to see if anything was wrong with the head but it looked fine. We know it is coming from the intake manifold area and think it might be the 2nd and 3rd injector, so I am going to buy some RC 310cc injectors.

On the other note he let me drive his Turbo GSR, and let me tell you it is way faster then my car, well duh...He actually has A/C, Power Windows and locks, that is just crazy.... I give his car :goodjob: :goodjob:

He drove my car and said it was pretty quick and gives it his seal of approval which means a lot.

Here are some pics of his car, my CRX you can see in the backround of the exhuast pic and the pic of the valve cover off

Default 310?

310 injectors? Is that too much fuel for a stock motor?

My car! :chuckles:

So all of the other problems haven't come back yet?

I wouldn't even bother with the 310's. They are much too small for a decent turbo setup and much too large for a stock motor.

And yeah, you need to do something about that exhaust. You have a cutout for two so you would either need to live with one hole unfilled, or get a new bumper. Surprisingly, it doesn't sound too bad for a dual exhaust, but in terms of performance, it isn't a good idea.

Thx, a lot that damn alternator doesn't make the noise anymore, you shoulda saw your face when your heard it, LOL. I am going to buy a Greddy SP2 exhaust I found. I also saw a RS*R exhaust, but they wanted $650, so no way. I am going back to single exhaust, and thinking about making my car a sleeper again, so any suggestions???
