you should read last months issue of honda-tuning. I think it's either last months or the month before. The issue says "Prelude to Power" on the front. In that issue there is a 4 page article that explains the complete proceedure for importing cars. Let me just warn you, it's not a simple process.

Default a lot

well I can tell you this, when my folks and I moved from Los Angelos to Germany, they wanted to charge us about 2500 , and thats on a boat. And it was for a car. Back in 1989.

Default how much!

so you would spend a total of 8 grand to get an 88-91 hatch from japan that hasnt been drivin for a long ass time. The reason so many people have b16s in the us is cause in japan they cant drive them no more. Emissions? Its the right hand drive huh, not trying to be a dick but man.................

You also have to pay several other fees and also have it switched to US emissions standards. After it's all done you will have paid about double what the car is actually worth. It will cost you well over $10,000.

mmmm, ok, just wish it wasnt that hard to do but i will try to get the may issue, missed that issue. Thanks man for the help. But ya it might be cheaper to get a loan and get the motor and build it up and swap it. Any help on getting not cheap but like OEM psitons and rings or main bearings set. Want to rebuild the motor make it a zero miles motor.

When i did my bug motor you could buy a gasket kit and it did just about every gasket on the motor. and at frist i want to make it na. Do people put bigger throttle body and intake manni? Dont need a how to just where i can find alot of rebuidl stuff for decent price but reialble quality.
