I got a custom exhaust done for $120 + muffler for my 4th gen hatch. Thats relatively inexpensive, cause it was done at a shop on the southside of milw [16th & National Ave] by illegal immigrants. They did a pretty good job tho.

why would you *want* a dual exhaust on a CRX? seems to me like they don't have enough power to need it. *shrug*

but if you insist... i'd say do it custom :P

I thought dual exhausts were only for 6 or more cylinder engines. It would probably be a bit ricey on a CRX imo.

yeah.. technically you can only put a "true" dual exhaust on a 6 or 8 cylinder. But you can split the exhuast on a 4. I've seen some rexes with duals, I think they look really nice with the right muffler and tip (not big).

um, I don't know..I still think it's one of those 'all show and no go' type of mods. I'm sure some ppl appreciate it, but I'm just not into the 'car show' scene (a bunch of weirdos imo). Dual exhausts just adds extra wieght, and makes you look like a riceboy. I don't know if other aspects of performance would be effected though. I just think it would be slightly more tasteful to invest in stuff that make you go fast, than stuff that merely gives other ppl the impression that you're fast.

On a side note, I guess even some OEM manunfacturers do the same silly thing. Check out the dual exhaust on the S2000, or the Audi TT ( which uses the 225hp version of the VW 1.8t 4-banger)
