Engine
The best place online to buy one is probably http://www.hmotorsonline.com, heard great things about them... Theres also http://www.totaljdm.com another great place (its down right now tho)... U can try and search locally, if your in a large city where alot of tuning takes place, then u will probably save on shipping... But where I live Im SOL as far as that goes... Since for the most part, these arent domestic engines, they tend to be hard to find in junk yards... And if they are there, they're probably not in good shape...
I said for the most part they arent domestic, because the particular engine ppl tend to swap into the 4th Gen Civic and 2nd gen CRX is a B16A generation 1, which was not originally found here (it was in the EF9 Civic and EF8 CR-X SiRs in Japan)... It has a cable tranny, and is preOBD, and has 160HP... The only B16A's here are found in Del Sol VTEC's, and its stamped B16A3, and the 99-2000 Civic Si's which have the B16A2... I dont remember off hand, but I think they both have a bit more HP at about 170HP... Both of these have hydro trannies, and will need more than just a mount kit to get to work as the 4th gen Civic comes with a cable tranny... Plus they are OBD1 and OBD2 respectively, where as the 4th gen Civic is preOBD, so that means alot of wiring, or a conversion harness... So the easiest B16A swap into a 4th gen is the B16A generation 1, also known as the B16A1... Just a little bit of info to consider when looking for your new engine...

Thanks Exempt! That was a VERY helpful bit of information. I will check out Hmotorsonline and the other site. So my 89 Civic Si will allow for a B16a1 engine? Once I get the engine from hmotorsonline will I need to have any work done to it? Are their engines guarnateed to have low miles on it? Do those engines normall come with everything that I will need to get the swap done?
