If you are going to run boost 4-6 Psi should be fine on your motor.

That is exactly the problem!Young and Tryin to be cool to get ppl to like them,
When i was learning all this stuff 5-7yrs ago,there was not as much info as there is out there now! But yet i did my own research and read up on things,i didn't run to a forum to ask EVERY single question.What happend to doing ones own research and finding the answers?

I will say the SOHC Zc puts out 130hp....@ the crank,and not to the wheels!

 

Once again just because I said it would be nice to beat a STI but it isnt a priority doesnt mean I must beat a STI. If you have not figured out by now,the biggest reason i rag on you is because most of the things you say or any of your thoughts are inconsistant from post to post.You say one thing,make a rediculous claim and overall make little sense.

 

being young is not a problem...it is how you learn and grow. so he mouthed off on some stuff that wasnt all that feasable. If he is gonna be around play a positive part in shaping him and his ideology of cars. he is 19. i was too and if i had a resource like this i would have used it too. If you cant stand him just dont read his posts. It was funny doggin on the original gsr and si thing but it was old and just mean to keep on and on like you are perfect and have never done anything stupid.

Have you decided what you are going to go with.
If you have the $$ for maintanance and upkeep of a turbo,go for it.If not start small,learn and absord info.
Go with a mini me.
Or get a b18b.Many options and directions to go with that motor.Ls/vtec or it is a good motor to boost.Either way you can only spend sooo much money on the D.You will end up spending less on a b18b and get more out of it since it has more potential and more aftermarket support.

 

Why put a zc camshaft in it if its already a ZC? SOHC ZC isnt 130hp any way. DOHC ZC is though. STill trying to figure this out can you tell me what it says on the block?
