I am doing a B18 swap into a 91 civic. The motor I am putting in does not have a trany on it but they have two that I can choose from for the swap. One is an A1 5 speed out of a 2 door 93 Integra and the other is YS1 5 speed out of a 4 door Integra LS.
Anyone have any insights into the A1? I think that it is from Japan but not positive. On sportcompact they have an engine guide and it states that it was manufactured for the JDM.
Any info would help.

 

I dont know whick tranny is better, but if the A1 is JDM, then it might have LSD.
