Use Shell. I'm not sure of the grade of gas out their but in MD you can get 93 or 94 octane gas. In MD we have Exxon,BP(which use to be AAmco,Shell, Citago. It's some others. I really like Exxon the best..

I like Chevron... I always thought that Techron additive was bull, then my old car, an 84 BMW started bogging badly, acting like it was going to die on me, and did a few times... I ran injector cleaner thru there, still did it... Someone on another forum I used to goto (was a BMW forum) said to try a full tank of Chevron with Techron... It worked... They said to run it thru every few weeks, I did, and it never happened again while I had the car...

hahaha, the techron is bull. it's all the same. actually from the same distributor and everything. It's just a brand name thing. I work at a distribution plant, we can drive our 76 trucks to anyone of the major players refineries and get fuel and call it 76. The additives they put in it are a replacement for lead and are in all unleaded gasoline just under different names. The only difference you get into is with like safeway or arco gas where they use alcohol to achieve the 87+ octane, they are really like a 82 octane then ade alcohol to get the right minimum octane. This is why it is so cheap and can mess up your ride.

I'd probably go to the 76, the two pick up trucks fueling up must mean that the gas is really cheap there.

I've come to the conclusion that anywhere your going to get the same thing...it's going to have to meet some level of quality, i'll usually pass up a really run down station but i figure why pay more for the same thing you can get somewhere else for cheaper. I usually run a thing of lucas fuel system cleaner through every now and then and I havn't had any major problems yet.
