Please tell me you're joking... The only reason someone would buy higher octane fuel is because it's more resistant to detonation and in forced induction and high power output applications the block and lines run a lot hotter overall, making higher octane fuel a neccessity. You don't need to pay the extra 50 cents a gallon just because you slapped a cold air intake on your civic.
i live here in pasadena area and there is a 76 station off the 110 north freeway and they sell 100 octane everyday at the pump its $5.79 a gallon :thinking:
