Default new crx problems

i just picked up an 88 hf for $100 off some guy that needed cash.it is ok condition but it came with some kind of header, a pacesetter exhaust, and some 5 star american racing rims that wouldn t look half bad painted black. the only thing it needed was an alternater. i have been driving it for a while now and i am starting to notice some hesitation at around 1500-2500 rpm's. pretty much when ever i hold at a constant speed. Any one had this problem?? i have replaced the plugs, wires, cap&button, fuel filter, and air filter. im thinking maybe the 0-2 senser or maybe even the ECU. if any one has any solutions i would appreciate it.

i also had the same problem with my 88 hf...i pretty much thought it was the 02 sensor causing the hesitation...it only happened when i was trying to hold speed and not when i was decelerating or when moderately accelerating

another theory i had was clutch chatter...the car would shake a little under acceleration from the start (had to give it lots of gas to get it moving)

i never fixed it b/c i was doing a swap...i put in a rebuilt d16a6...so basically this isn't much help

i am also thinking about a swap, though i would hate to lose the 42+ mpg. but i do not want to swap it before this winter because i use this car for delivering pizzas right now. i have the hatch i can drive this winter, but as of right it isnt running and i am kind of lazy to fix it because it is an auto.

pull off the EACV and spray it out with intake cleaner. That fixed the same problem when I had a 91 hf...
