Default Wheel/Tire Setup

I have asked around through IM's what a good inexpensive general purpose wheel/tire setup for my type of vehicle, and all I get is "you should get compound-R's on 700.00 each wheels," but I dont have that type of money to toss around(I wish I did though). For mostly dry conditions with occasional showers(SoCal), which wheel/tire combination will suit me the best for mostly street but the occassional track stint. I have read some articals, most of the articles said it handling improvements where based off the suspension setup, the suspension work is going to be very moderate with a 1" drop(Tein Basic Dampeners).

I'd recommend a set of lightweight 15's (Circuit 8's, Group-N's, etc..) with some Falken Azenis Sports. I can get you set up for about $800 shipped for the set.

How light are the Slipstream and Sub-Zero's respectively? As I like there simple and clean design, and does the Battle come in a for bolt pattern?

Battles are not available. The slips and the subzeros both weigh roughly 12lbs each.

Those sound light to me for a large piece of aluminum, and $450.00-$500.00 for a set of 4 is a great deal. I take it that the Falken Azenis Sports your where talking about where the Falken Azenis ST-115?

It would be for the Falken Azenis Pure Sports ST-215 (The ones that all the autocrossers use.)
