i too have heard of an adaptor plate that allows b series trannies to bolt to h22 blocks. but havent seen any pics or specs on it yet.

yeah iknow i read the whole post (35 lbs), but i was just thinkin 35 lbs isnt much, take out your subs and there you go, but i understand ab out being in the front of the car. im sure a whole turbo setup on a b16 prob weighs as much as an h22..but ppl dont really think about in regaurds to upgrading their suspension, most ppl do that anyway with no swaps. but yea theres an adaptor plate for b series tranny on h series motor. u guys must not read HT..ill find the link.

Actually I read (maybe in that post, I dont remember exactly) that having subs will actually offset some of the weight of the h22... So adding them in this kind of setup would help out... Not sure how true that is tho... I do know one thing for sure, an h22 in a EF would be sick on the drag stip! :thumbup:

still not sold on either engine, all i know is i want vtec!!!!!! thanks for all the help. any more info/ opinions would be appreciated

Precision R, in San Antonio Texas used to have one. It was an 11sec N/A car. Then a drunk guy rear ended him and ramed the front end literally into the ground. Sad thing. But yes it can be done.
