do ef hatches and crx's hve bad aerodynamics?
Yes. In a manner of speaking. All cars are drag limited even the supercars who are supposed to be good for three hundred or whatever.
That's not to say that they are areodynamically crappy, but just yeah. It's a factor.
I think lowered cars have a little less drag but don't quote me on that.

You'll run into drag problems around twice the legal speed limit. You don't need to be going that fast.
The coefficient of drag for the hatchbacks is right around .33.
For reference, my RX-7 comes in at ~.30 (.29 if some of the original aero parts didn't rust off,) and the Honda Insight comes in at .25. A Miata, with the top down, is around .38.
All in all, the EF body cars have decent aerodynamics.

I can tell u this, my old car was an E30 BMW (1984 318i)... When I would drive on the hwy on windy days, from the boxiness body of the car, I feel the car being pushed around... In my CRX, I dont have that problem at all...

Also what exactly is the drag coefficent?
