Will stock tranny from 88 CRX work with D16y7 motor?
Can you put a D16y7 motor in an 88 CRX DX and use the stock 88 DX Tranny.
If so what else am I going to need successfully do the swap.

yes, bolts right up without any modifications - you will need to use the CRX DX flywheel and clutch, due to the 88 transmission's 21 spline input shaft - you will need an injector resistor box and make the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes, using the DX engine harness - you will need 88-91 Si, HF or 90-91 EX distributor
