Default My car is smoking...n e ideas y?

For some reason lately my car starts smoking from under the hood. I just got my oil changed today and I asked them to check if there was any leaks comming from anywhere and they told me no. So on the way back home from work when I got home and parked my car lo and behold smoke...i dont see any coolant leaking, nothing from my water pump so what could it be?

Explain to it how bad smoking is and make it smoke the whole pack. :chuckles:

Localize the smoke, it shouldn't be too hard. The most common cause is an old, cracked valve cover gasket that leaks oil onto the exhaust manifold. The oil burns off, smells like hell, and generates a bit of smoke. Any coolant leak onto the engine will produce similar results with a whiter smoke and sweet smell.
