Default how do you take off a tranny oil fill plug/bolt if it has been rounded?

this is a bitch. the bolt was in bad shape so a 17mm wrench wouldnt go on. it would just barely get the tip of the bolt. i tried that failed. then i tried a lock wrench or whatever you call it. that failed. then i drilled a hole though it put some broke drill bits in the hole then used the lock wrench. that failed, bits broke everytime. i dont know what else to do now, so i need help i only filled the tranny fluid up the the axels thats the only why i could get the fluid in. so its not even full. but enough to move round the lot i think. so how do you take off the tranny oil plug/bolt if its rounded with a lil hole in it? and one more thing its tight as F**K.

you will have to use a hammer and chisel or big screwdriver
and try to carefully hit it in the same direction as you would to
take it off with a regular ratchet and when you get it out just buy one from the dealer
good luck.

They also sell special sockets for striped bolts go to your local autoparts store and look for those sockets Im sure those will work, If not you should keep trying with the vise grips
