how can I get a picture that will fit the dimensions (maximum 100x100) that this site requires to add to my profile is there anyway that's easy since I don't have any special software? Also when I try to use the smilies they only come up with words describing the expression rather than actually adding the face to my posts, what should I do to use just the smilies and not words?

 

to resize pics, use MSpaint

for the smilies, make sure the "disable smilies in text" box is unchecked.

 

MS Paint -> Image tab -> Strech/Screw. Change the percentages down, equally.

Image -> Attributes will tell you the size in pixels.

 

I'm gonna try that....
