Default Replacing exhaust system: 91 CRX

I need to replace cat and muffler. I am going to replce cat on back. I was looking on some info on which way to go. What are the pros and cons of going with:
1) Stock system.
2) System with 2 mufflers.
3) System with 1 muffler with 2 tailpipes.

Just looking for some info on which way to go. Thanks!!!

go to magnaflow.com they are a good exhaust company and if you look through their website in the FAQ section it will answer any questions you have about exhaust systems. i am running dual magnaflow 6" race series mufflers with a glasspack for backpressure. make sure you get the right system for your horsepower. if you flow to well then you will lose torque. the website explains it all, just go there. plus if you have any further questions then call them.

"1) Stock system."
+ quiet, smoother driving
- restrictive

"2) System with 2 mufflers"
+ ummm, i guess you'll have two mufflers
- unnecessary on a car with only one head, ugly, subject of ridicule, severe loss of back pressure

"3) System with 1 muffler with 2 tailpipes"
well, whatever's cool.

i've had nothing but bad luck with magnaflow, plus they don't make a system for the CRX, you'd have to get a "universal" muffler, which always looks like crap, and sounds just as good (most of the time)

i'd highly reccomend a system from www.thermalrd.com
i've got one on my 99 hatch and i love it

Thanks for the info. I did check out magnaflow, but didn't get much info on the CRX like you said. I will hit up the site you recommended. Thanks for clearing up my fuzzy questions as well.
