Tell me if this sounds familiar to any of you. Something in my exhaust system is loose. I can hear it especially well when I start the car. It sounds like when you pull the tab off an empty soda can, drop it inside and shake it around. I swear it's coming from the catalytic converter, I could be wrong. I've checked all the places where the exhaust system mounts to the car and the system itself isn't loose. I don't seem to be losing performance at all because of this, but damn it's annoying. Thoughts? :thinking:

 

The cat converter has stamped metal heat sheilds around it. Once they (the heat sheilds) start rusting and break away from the cat they will rattle like mad... either get used to it, remove the sheilds, or replace the cat with a new unit or test pipe.
