ps you need to have 4 relifs per piston to put a 16V head on

i have heard that they have 4 valves also.. i think there is a thread on here somewhere about it. if i am not mistaken it should have the clearance. let me know how it turns out

yes my girl is hot, and why not teach her about cars, it lets us spend time together, we have a 2 year old and havent been able till now to do much together besides take care of her. so its a nice change. and boreing or not its something to do.

Well, if you don't use a new headgasket, it will fry itself in a few miles.

The DX head has a fairly low lift cam. I don't think it would be an issue yet, but no promises.

Just on the topic of destroying engines. I downloaded this video, it was probably about 20 mins or so long. They look a crx (can't remember the trim level) that was on its last leg. They drained all of the oil (don't remember if they drained the coolant too or not) and let it run.

It ran for a pretty long time before it finally seized up. It was a pretty funny/entertaining video. Then they just beat the hell out of the car which wasn't cool. But seeing how long that engine ran before it finally died was interesting.

The HF block does have 4 valve relifs on the piston. I just looked at one I have in the garage.
