Default 89-90 brake calipers

I'm new to the Forum but I'm hoping I can still get my question answered.

I have an 89 Civic Si. I can get stock diameter brake rotors that are slotted and cross-drilled (damn nice looking rotors) but unfortunately only available for a 90-91. For 90-91 the rotors are thicker.

I don't wanna go with stock rotors on my car and I don't wanna pay for an over-size kit. Will the calipers from from a 90 fit on an 89?

The guy at the parts store didn't know cause he'd never tried it and the guy at Honda dealership could only tell me the part numbers.

i'm not entirely sure...i've put on the fast brakes kit 11" fronts on my crx

but so long as the calipers and the rotors are meant for each other it should fit...i'm pretty sure they did not change the knuckles so it should work

if you can find a full hub assembly from a 90-93 integra it is bigger and better than what you have now. you can also use the rear discs from that car but it will make wheel stick out another 2-3mm.
