Default shift linkage on 91 hatch with ls

alright, i know you can buy the hasport linkage, but i don't have that kind of money. I was wondering if there is a write up or somebody has info on what to do to shorten the shift linkage of the integra, or lengthen the civic one. I have both. a how to or the length of finished product would be good. thanks

a how-to?

1) bolt one of them to the car
2) measure the difference and find the best place to cut
3) chop and weld in an extension.

Selling your two linkages could probably pay about half of an HASport linkage, or you could check with Place or a couple other places to see if theirs are cheaper.
