im not a dumbass but i cant see to get my rear bumper off on my 91 hatch. i took the taillights out, undid the screws in teh fender well, but i cant seem to get the middle piece between the bumper and the lights off. there are screws that i cant get too and i dunno what to do. i took the bolts off on the right and left side of the divider piece but thats all. any help..pics?

 

there's two bolts that come from under the car to remove the bumper, gotta take the bumper off to remove that trim piece. The chilton's fails to mention these two that come up from the bottom, i know from experience, i almost broke mine off cause i thought it was stuck.

 

ok so where are the bolts underneath. i looked underthere but it was so dirty i couldnt see sheeit. anyways how about those screws on the top part of the bumper. i can see them but it seems some may be covered by that trim piece???

 

when you get the two from underneath those screws will clear fine. The bumper will just drop down. The two bolts underneath are big like the two inside kinda by the spare tire. They line up with those, like they are directly under them i think. Try taking a light under your car, you should be able to see them even if it's dirty unless you've been wheelin
