del sol rear bumper vs. civic
i know the front ends of the eg civic hatches/coupes are similar to our sols, but what about the rear bumper? i'm thinking no, but i had to ask... the reason i'm asking is because i want a rear bumper lip to match the ctr front lip i'm gonna put on... thanks in advance for any input...

Bumper wise, none (front or back) of the bumpers off a civic would fit a del sol. The lips on the other hand is a different story. You might be able to get it to fit. Might have to do a little work on it to make it fit right though...

A CTR lip? The CTR lip only fits on the 6th gen. and only years 96, 97, and 98. Unless I missed something, that lip will not fit. I do know that the stock 92-95 Civic coupe lip will fit. I have it on my car. It doesn't fit perfectly, but pretty close. Closer than most crappy aftermartket stuff. As far as aftermarket goes, I'm not sure, I guess it would depend on the lip.

To answer your original question, no. No rear lip for any Civic will fit a del Sol. The mini-lip already on the bumper makes it quite impossible, plus the bumpers are completely different shapes.

Unfortunately, however, there is a wide variety of shitty aftermarket rear lips and bumper skins made specifically for the del Sol.
