I would think if he opened up the exhaust he would find a nice little bit more power out of the motor

 

jkan what are you talking about? where did i talk so big about my turbo... all i said is i like gaining more power the cheaper way like turbo..... and that i would post dyno charts when i get it done.

You shouldn't be talking AT ALL cause you've been saying you're gonna have a d16 turbo setup for over a year now and still nothing. At least luckybull had the balls to get together a setup (even if it's only basic with boltons) and get his ass to a dyno which is more than you can say for yourself.

Don't dog on him when you have even less and absolutely nothing to back your car up. Last time i checked his bolton B16 still puts out WAY more power than your bolton D, so shut it. It's like they say, those that don't have and can't do just criticize.

jaje, i'm just defending luckybull here. At least some people have the balls to post their setups even if other people don't think they are that awesome. I personally didn't go his route but it's called personal style and preference so props to him on that.

 

thanks man... honestly i didnt even expect it to do that... hell i just bought the car to sell it... had some fun with it after it was finished.. its decently fast.. we raced another civic that had been runnin 13.7 all last year, and we were dead even with him... we have beat alot of cars with it.

 

Sounds good, welcome to the board and at least you know what it's all about...being happy with what you have and having a good time. My car was only 176/173 d16 turbo but i took down a nsx, a few s2000's and an evo 8, on the street a lot of crazy things can happen.

 

lol for a year ROFL, you must be thinking of the wrong person, i decided on turbo in november... bakeoff made me wanna go turbo so i put the car on stands... so i don't know where you got a year from but your wrong.
