Who do u think makes the best ecu or remaps the best. I have a friend who got a jun spec , he says it kicks ass , no rev limiter , he shifts at 8800 in GSR , no fuel cut off , no speed govenor , VTEC crossover is at 5600 now , he said when VTEC kicks on itll throw u in ure seat , i dont know if thats true or not. Im away at college but ive talked to other people back home n they say its terribly fast with that ecu and i/e , whats your guys opinions on Ecu"s :cheers:

 

stock with hondata. those universal, jun "style" chips are ****. and i'd have to say your friend is an idiot for running an ecu like that.

 

Ya i dont much about em , thats why i posted before doin something drastic like changed the ecu . I dont wanna hurt the motor cause its excellent shape , i can stress enough how good of condition it is in . Also i hear the stock Honda ECU"s are preety advanced and almost the best , as far as your options. I was also thinkin honda data, anyone know what it will run to have it programmed.

 

damn... no rev limiter...shifting @ 8.8k? i hope he is not on stock rods and pistons...all it takes is one terrible misshift and :angry:
