Default Ls/Vtec Questons

Can i use GSR valves in my b16 head and can i als replace the Stock Ls rods and pistons with 2000 GSR rods and pistons.

Yes, but they are the same thing. No point in changing them.

Yes, but only if you use a B18C crank.

In you oppinion Kai what would be better
1) Using GSR Pistons and Rods and change crankshafts or
2) ITR pistons with the stock Ls rods or
3) ITR pistons with eagle rods

as far as price and horsepower
need another oppinion

I guess you have a budget to follow. Look into ITR pistons matched to the stock rods, have the stock rods shot peened, and pick up a Z10 engineering block girdle (or adapt a B18C girdle to fit.) That should hold it together just fine. An LS/VTEC hybrid is not a cheap engine to build.

What exactly does the Z10 block girdle do? I plan to pick one up

Which ITR pistons the JDM or the USDM type r?

a block girdle ties the main caps together. jdm itr pistons have more compression than the usdm pieces.
