I guess you have a budget to follow. Look into ITR pistons matched to the stock rods, have the stock rods shot peened, and pick up a Z10 engineering block girdle (or adapt a B18C girdle to fit.) That should hold it together just fine. An LS/VTEC hybrid is not a cheap engine to build.
