Default Seat belt indicator

My cars seat belt light is to damn anoying to handle. Where is the noise at? And what would be the best way to disasemble it?

i've looked into this before...haven't been able to find anything, it is so annoying. i did find out where the buzzer is for when you have the keys in the ignition with the door open though.

i know the wire for the seat belt LIGHT indicator (in the dash and by the rear-view mirror) is under the seats... not sure about the buzzer though. if you can get a manual it will probably tell you

I remember reading about how to trick the sensor into thinking the belt was fastened even when it was not, I don't really remember how to do it, but ill try to dig it up.

did you try to unplug the thing under the seats i think that might work, but not sure.

Just put some tape over the light and buy a really loud system to drown out the beeping... if any one can figure that out I'd like to know, it pisses me off!

Ok read carefully I'll make this as simple as I can remember it. Snap off the plastic that conceals the 3 screws holding the rearview mirror and you will find I believe a blue plug unplugg it and the noise and I believe the light will go away. I have a 90 hatch and it was beeping endlessly when ever I had someone get in after the car was started. Trust me this will solve your problems.

excitid is exactly right, I did the same thing on my 91 crx Si and the noise is gone!!
