Default car bogs at wot.

heres my problem; my car accelerates fine if im easy on the pedal. but if i smash the pedal completely down, the car bogs hard and then accelerates normally. i have done new plugs, wires, cap & rotor, catalytic converter, made sure timing is good, next will be fuel filter and o2 sensor. i have been looking through several sites archives and people have mentioned the tps. i am not throwing any codes, so i figured my tps is fine. i have a dohc zc with a pg7 ecu, anyone have any suggestions or been through something similar? i need to get my car emissioned, but i want to make sure its running right before i try. thanks alot.

There's no harm in testing the TPS.

It could be that your clutch is slipping

That's possible, but you can even hear the engine bog if you are sitting in neutral and floor it. sounds wierd huh? :dunno:

well, i emissioned my car, (hc) 2.39/ allowed 1.00/ (co) 29.42 allowed 12.00. i was blowing white smoke out of my exhaust, so i did a compression test. 180 across all the cylinders, i thought i may have had a blown headgasket, but the compression looks good.
i checked my oil level and noticed that its like 2 inches above the full line; i asked my neighbor about it and he told me that most likely oil is getting into my combustion chambers and he also said that it can definately affect my emissions level. does anyone know if thats true? anyways, any help on this will be greatly apreciated, im ready to take a can of gas and a match to my car. thanks.

2 inches above full line? that means your burning oil? doesnt that mean you're overfilled?

Over full crank case increases your crank windage a lot, which costs power.

For the Throttle body, make sure it's not opening too far when you mash the pedal, because that will also certainly cost you throttle response.
