I'm installing a stereo into my crx and need help finding power. I have all the stereo wires connected and checked the last four for power. I found the two with power and the colors are blue/white and red/yellow. Need help finding out which ones go where. I'v tried diffways but no worked. It's a JVC tape player. Had a Kenwood CD player (got stolen ).

 

If I read my Haynes diagram correctly, the red/yellow one is the switched power (ACC) and the blue/white one should be connected to constant power (i.e. battery).

i always just wired my own wire onto the big white constant power wire under the dash for the constant and yah the red/yellow is the acc wire gl with whatever ur doing

 

Do you have a multimeter?

If not go out and buy a cheap one from lowes for like 9 bucks, granted its cheap it will solve a ton of troubleshooting problems you'll come across (electrical anyways) in the near future
