Default help to re-install factory stereo in dash?

'96 Acura 2.5 TL with factory am/fm/cassette/single CD unit. It is out of the car (I didn't remove it) now with the trim surround plate. I'd like to re-install it myself, but, the trim surround plate is a bit larger than the opening in the dash. I'm sure those here that have replaced or worked on their factory stereos must have a few tips to pass along. Thanks,

never mind.
What I had been hoping for was someone to point out that the woodgrain trim panel on the dash face is just held in place by clips and that by gently prying it off the dashboard, I could slip the entire radio and trim plate into place behind it and then replace the woodgrain panel over top of it.
