I drove someone elses Vigor a long time ago and I remember really liking it. I have an RSX now but I was just thinking about the inline-5 the Vigor had and wondering what the specs were on it. Valves, cams, displacement, etc. Anybody know? I guess that inline-5 fell by the wayside...not too many carmakers mess around with them. I have a friend with an old Audi 5+5 coupe with an inline-5 but it's probably a lot different technologically than what Acura was doing with theirs. Anyway...comments?, info?

 

I have one, Its specs are inline 5 cyl. 2.5 liter , 20 valves ,170 hp. mine is a 5 sp. manual , most are Automatics.
Motor and tranny sit front to back Unlike most front drive cars .
So if you are thinking of a Swap , you will run into firewall clearence problems .
I think its only a single cam but not Sure.

I actually read an article a few months back which said Honda Lowered the HP numbers so it wouldn't outsell the legend. If you do the math the numbers even come out higher than listed. Comes out to about 200 HP/ 190-Torque.
