Car Stalls
I have a 1999 Acura TL 3.2 I am driving down the road and engine shuts off. I stillhave the radio A/C fan blowing but the tach drops to 0. It will restart, usually takes a couple of times.It wistart the die after about the 3rd ti it stars and runs fine for while then does it again.
I replaced the main relay checked the wiring harnes and the alternator.
I checked and the recall on the igniation theat causes this problem has been fixed.

Did the engine light come on? It could be alot of things like bad spark plugs/coil, Idle control valve and etc. When was the ignition recall done?

No the check engine light does not come on. Once the TCS light came on the it died when I restrated it the SRS light was on. When it stalled andI restared
again not lights wer on. When the engine dies the Tach drops to zero all dash lights and gauges drop just like you shut the engine off. But the radio A/C blower and dash clock continue to fuction.
