Security Alarm....
I just bought a 99 TL
It is a great car and it's my second day driving it.
My question is that it has that security light on the door it works but I dont have the transmiter. How do I find out if this car came with an alram system from the factory or how can I tell?
If it does can I buy the transmiter and hve it programmed?

You mean your car never came with a remote control? All TLs have a factory alarm in it. If you never received the remotes (2) from the owner of the car, you are going to have to go back to the dealer and buy it from them and have them program it for you......or you could do it yourself if you know how to do it.
