CL Tranny Problems???

CL Tranny Problems???
From what I've been reading, the 99 and up CL's and TL's always have transmisson problems. Why is that? Does Acura know that these problems exists? I only have 13,400 miles on my 99 CL and already have to change the transmission.........Any suggestions.........comments...........on this issue????

Wait. You have a 99 CL with only 13,400 miles? Ever done any tranny fluid change in 7 years?

Yes there is a known problem with the SS transmission from Honda. It has been a issue since it came out. In the 97-01 Preludes as well.
There is a recall on the tranny, all years of the TL and 01+ CL from what I recall. Its a full service replacment recall at no charge. As long as the transmission is causing serious jerking, downshifting or non-shifting.
If car really has 13k, def change the transmission oil. That might be the issue. If the problem still persists, and gets worse, see a dealer about it.
