Default Replacement power antenna

Has anyone tried to replace a power antenna with one that you see on Ebay, selling for around $25.00? The one on my Vigor has packed it in and
the Dealer wants about $250.00 to replace it. Hard to justify that coin.
Do they come with the wiring harness or do you have to wire it in yourself.
Thanks for the input.

the wiring would have to be spliced in if a "aftermarket" antenna is used

Does your antenna still try to work, or is it just dead all together? If it still attempts to work, you should be able to replace just the mast.

I bought one from a Honda site and installed it. It was only about $20-30 bucks. I may have that section of the service manual.
