Engine mounts
Just had to have 2 engine mounts replaced on my 2000 TL with 120K miles. These are the mounts that pop when the car starts, the ones that Acura admitted had a design flaw and couldnt be fixed, the ones that the noise doesnt cause any harm. Well I guess mine finally beat themselves to death. I have probably owned 20 cars over my lifetime and NEVER have I had engine mounts go bad.
This is the only Acura (or Honda) that I will ever own. When a $30K car has the airbag system fail 5 times, the engine mount problem and all the documented transmission problems, and the lousy customer service at Churchill Acura in Texas, I'm done with them. I going to something more reliable....like Ford or Chevy.

Ok, thanks for letting us know that you won't be buying an Acura anymore. As for myself, I've never had any problems on my 1999 3.2 TL and all the 2 Acura dealerships I went to treated me nicely.
