Default Problem with 2000TL Navi

I have purchased from insurance auction 2 TLs with damages:
2000 TL (hit form the back) and 2001 TL (hit from the front).
The 2000 TL had light rear damages; even back glass was not damaged. It has Navi, and when the car still was not repaired yet, I have played with the Navi to check and see if it works. It did work just fine; all the options of Navi worked including voice direction.
Now, when I fixed the 2000 TL, the Navi is giving me a hard time. I am trying to get it in to the mode where it advises me on the proper route, but it does not speak to me any more and instead of that I am getting a message on the screen:" System can not locate your vehicle, please drive for awhile"
It seems like that there its no connection between my Navi and the satellite. My Navi works partially, i.e. it shows me the Current Vehicle location (the North compass arrow moves correctly while I drive), it shows me maps, but when I try to activate the voice it does not work...
Note, my 2001 TL has tinted rear glass and I thought it would look much better if I will exchange the glasses. And so on 2000 TL I have installed the rear glass from my 2001 TL. Could be due to the tint the Navi malfunctions? :dunno: how can I find out whether the tint is metallic or not?
I need some professional advice. What can be checked and corrected.
Please help.

As far as I know, the tinted rear glass....metallic or not should not affect the Navi as many memebers here have metallic rear tints with navi with no problems.

I did run GPS’s self diagnostics (by pushing on menu + map + cancel), and it shows me that all the links are OK, it also showed me that is catches 7 satellites out of 8.
Can anyone on this forum advise me what else could be done in order to make the voice direction option working?

My navi works just fine , but only in USA
I wonder if Navi DVD Version 3.60 for 2004 TL (orange color) will work in 2000 3.2TL navi system?

The latest Navi upgrade DVD for the 2nd generation of TLs does not have Canada's map.
Since Acura does not bother to upgrade the 2nd generation Navi's DVD with the Canada's info, I am thinking to create myself a DVD, which would have USA (from my black DVD) and Canada (from the orange DVD) information on it.
But for that I need to know the format in which the Orange DVD was written.
Can anyone do me a favor and check their orange DVD and let me know the file's extensions? I would appreciate it very much.
