Default 04 Tl Bluetooth Question

Let's say you have 6 paired phones for the TL and all of them are in the car. what would happen if they all rung at the same time.

real scenario. me and my girl are in the car and both of our phones ring. which one will the car answer?

#2 if i'm using the HFL and her phone rings will the car know?

I don't think anyone here can answer those questions since the 04 TL is so new. Maybe you can try to go to the dealer and test it out and report back to us.

Up to 6 phones can be added to the TL, however only one phone at a time is active. So, which ever phone was 'active' would ring thru the vehicle's sound system.

but which phone would be "active" you don't have to put your phone into a certain mode do you? i thought once you pair the phone with the car you're set to go?

BTW, i am a dealer but we all use nextels so we have no blutooth phones available to mess with

i do plan on getting a Sony P900

Out of the six phones, only one can be set to 'active' status. If another phone, which has been previously paired, is to be used you simply tell the car which one to move to the top of the list.

You would have to go into the HandsFreeLink area and tell the car which phone to set as 'active.' When you add phones to the car you give each one a 'name' and this is what the car uses to know which phone to set as active.

With up to six phones added, it would be impossible to know which one should be set to active.
