hey guys, i've been recently lookin at installing a remote start system onto my existing viper 650XV alarm system, and i was just wondering how it is done!, i do ofcourse have a 5-sp so i can't have anyone else do it for me. just wondering if anyone knows any online guides or something.... oh BTW i'm planning on getting the " Remote Start 551T " from Valet

Get a wiring diagram for your car, and it will tell you colors and locations of all your required wires (starter interrupt, ignition, brake). You will need to bypass the clutch switch, obviously. Which leads me to this warning: put a sticker on your dashboard reminding you to ALWAYS PARK THE CAR IN NEUTRAL!!!!!

Actually I myself never have. Too much of a liability to do it for other people, and have no desire to do it myself. I do know people who have. You can find the wiring diagram in any Chiltons or similar manual.
