Default Installing Pioneer deh-p7200 in 1999 Civic Ex

Hey guys I am new to the Honda world as I've just picked up a 99 Civic EX for my daily driver. I am going to be replacing the factory head unit with the head unit mentioned above and I need to know exactly what I need to make it work?
I was going to just go ahead and get the mounting kit and wiring harness from crutchfield but I am running into some problems.

I can not seem to find a mounting kit thats listed for the 99 Civic, everything I see is for a 96-98 and then the one they do have listed says its for the Civic but when you click on product details it doesnt include the car there. So Im not sure what to do about that.

Then onto the wiring harness. Ive been reading that if you install a aftermarket head unit into a 96-98 Civic the remote entry and dome light will no longer work unless you keep the factory head unit plugged in and powered behind the dash. Is this only on the 96-98 so my 99 would be fine or do I need to do the same thing?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The wiring harness that Crutchfield sells for the 99-00 Civics keeps the keyless entry and security system intact. I got my wiring harness from them for my '99 Civic EX.

As for the mounting kit... you might want to call up Crutchfield and ask them about that.

Dude, just go to your local Circuit City, Best Buy, or Tweeter and get the Metra 70-1721 harness and American International HONK-828 dashkit.

You dont need keyless entry bypass for 99 vehicles. The plug wont fit BTW also.

If you cant find it locally.

http://store.autotoys.com
Search under 1721 for the harness
Search under 7898 for the kit which is also needed
