Default messed up changer..help!

hey guys..i just recently installed my kenwood system..its been out in the garage but in a bag for about 2 years...i bought it new for like 499 couple years ago..so i decided to hook it back up...i have a 10 disc cd changer "kenwood" also..and whenever i go over the smallest bumps, it will skipp...so basically i can't listen to a full song w/o it skippin like 30 times...can you guys help me out? oh yeah...sometimes if i put something heavy over it ...that helps the skippin a lil...
Cliff: skipps while goin over the smalles bumps on roads
changer has been in a bag for about 2 years
but when i put something heavy on top of it, keeps down the amount of skips

oh yeah..where should i mount it? its a 98 civic coupe

Did you remove the screws on the bottom of the changer? I'm pretty sure that kenwoods have bronze color screws on the bottom. Check it out. G'luck!

Well if you did remove the screws? If you aint sure, look on the bottom of the changer and see if it looks like there should be some screws in certain places. If not, u gotta put something in place to stablize it.
