Power only when engine running

I'm wiring up a DC-AC invertor in my car, but I don't want it to be on unless the engine is running and providing battery charge.
Is there a place I can tap into for a relay that's only on when the engine is running?

Can't think of anything that powers up when your engine's on. The cig lighter turns on right before the engine powers up. That's the only thing you could try. Why don't you just install a separate switch?
